In what is probably a branding clarification of its current Telstra Unified Communications Solution, telecoms giant Telstra last week applied for a trade mark for the term ‘Telstra Unified’.
The current service, under the company’s Enterprise Solutions banner, “enables you to collaborate from diverse locations such as the office or remote sites, using a unified system supporting integrated voice, video presence and mobility applications”, according to the website.
The trade mark application – number 1551921 – was lodged on April 16.
It covers a huge number of products and services under Classes 9, 35, 37, 38, 41 and 42. This includes ‘telecommunications and communications equipment’, ‘advertising and promotion services’, ‘installation and repair services’ and ‘amusement and entertainment’.
